🕊️ Spiritual Exercise for Eucharistic Adoration
Theme: “Be still and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10
✨ Preparation (5 minutes)
Enter in silence. Gently quiet your mind. Take slow, deep breaths.
Gaze upon the Eucharist and acknowledge the Real Presence of Jesus.
Pray silently or aloud:
“Lord Jesus, I believe that You are truly present here—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.
Help me to enter deeply into this time with You. I come as I am, trusting in Your mercy.”
🔥 Phase 1: Praise & Gratitude (10 minutes)
Scripture Reading: “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His mercy endures forever.” – Psalm 118:1
Reflect on specific blessings or moments of grace from your life.
Speak to Jesus from your heart:
“Thank You for…”
“I praise You because…”
Optional journal prompt:
What are three things today that reveal God's love for me?
đź’” Phase 2: Contrition & Healing (10 minutes)
Scripture Reading: “Create in me a clean heart, O God.” – Psalm 51:10
Ask the Holy Spirit to bring to light any sins, burdens, or wounds.
Sit with Jesus and let His gaze of love heal what hurts or is broken.
Pray:
“Jesus, I’m sorry for…”
“Heal this part of me…”
Optional action:
If possible, make a plan to go to Confession soon.
🕯️ Phase 3: Contemplation & Listening (15 minutes)
Scripture Reading: “Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.” – 1 Samuel 3:10
Rest in silence before the Blessed Sacrament.
Focus on a word or phrase that rises from your heart (e.g., “peace,” “beloved,” “mercy”).
Let Jesus speak without words. Simply be with Him.
Prompt for interior listening:
Jesus, what do You want me to know about Your love for me today?
🌍 Phase 4: Intercession & Mission (10 minutes)
Scripture Reading: “Ask and you shall receive.” – John 16:24
Pray for:
Family and friends
The Church and the world
Your own needs
Offer your heart to be sent on mission:
“Jesus, I am Yours. Use me today to love and serve.
Let me carry the light of Your Presence to all I meet.”
